    Good morning.

    Yay for @kimmiinthemitten's hubby.  Boo on the job front.

    Good luck @charlotte989875 house buying/selling can be so frustrating.

    We finally got snow!  Although not nearly enough.   There is a huge storm coming tonight into Thursday.  I'm hoping this will make our season, if not the fate of the restaurant this season is in question.   I have to cut people's hours and delay my own raise until thing pickup.      Could really use some snow vibes for us.

    Today is chill day for me.   Laundry, cleaning, running errands and having some friends over for dinner.  Tomorrow I'm also off and  I plan on hiking to work for breakfast with another friend/co-worker.   Although that might be weather dependent if this storm is really as big as they say.

    @lyndausvi - I am set to come out to CO in a little over two weeks- Jan 25-30th.  Hitting up Beaver Creek, Vail, etc.  I have been SO nervous about the snow conditions out there- watching every day.  Glad to hear a storm is on the way- I hope it's as major as you say- for both you and me! :)
  • Is period brain a thing?  Like pregnancy brain, but my uterus is eating my brain?  B/c I cannot think or concentrate for more than about 5 minutes at a time on one thing right now.

    I just planned Pride.  All of the hard work, bullshit structure of the last 2 years has paid off because I'm just redoing nuts and bolts.

    B/c I'm acting like a dog chasing multiple squirrels, I've rented the tents/stanchions/tables/chairs, I've e-mailed the desired headlining artists (and already have a response), I've reserved the square, I've reserved the sound guy, I've reserved the dumpster, I've flipped the sponsorship, volunteer, and performer applications into 2018, and made new apps for flag carriers and MCs.  Oh and we came up with a theme based off of my relative obsession with queer history and pissed offed-ness of 2017-2018 and it's amazing and the graphic artist is in love and already designing.

    I guess when you have to stay on a 3rd year, it goes okay.

    It's a super real thing. Brain fog, or difficulty concentrating and feeling sluggish, is a common sign of PMS/PMDD. I used to have it so bad it felt like I was in a Peanuts classroom scene. It's better on BCP, but man, sometimes the struggle is so so real. Brain fog can be a sign of other disorders/deficiencies, so it's a good idea to bring it up to your doctor, especially if it is interfering with everyday life.

  • @MissKittyDanger try a cold pack on the back of your neck. Whenever I had tension headaches while pregnant I did that for like 15-20min on then off then on like twice  with my eyes closed and it helped me SO much. Heat packs/ a heating pad/baths did nothing to help but ice/cold packs did.

    Yes!  It's a 10 minute drive away.

    I have a cloth pack that you can freeze or heat up, so I may toss in freezer {I still feel tension :( }
