Didn't know this was that public. Sorry friends.

No I don't think that is an overreaction at all. I would feel the same way.

Not at all. She treated you like shit. I'd be livid and would not consider her a friend anymore.

She's a terrible person and you are not overreacting.

No, you’re not overeacting. She’s an awful person.

I would be sending her a bill for services rendered regarding her bachelorette party.

    You're entirely justified.

Wow. What a fucking peach. Sorry, OP.

Tell her you expect to be reimbursed for the bachelorette party and the dress.

This friendship is over. She is genuinely awful. I am so sorry.

Ditto @LondonLisa.   She used you.  I'd tell her you expect a check.

I wouldn’t expect to get one, but I’d be asking just the same.

    That would be my reaction.

I'd definitely ask her to reimburse you for the dress.

Yeah.   I wouldn't hold my breath on any reimbursement but I'd call bullshit on the crocodile tears after I spent well over $1000 of my hard-earned money on a supposed dear friend only to find that she felt like I was replaceable.

    Holy crap, OP.  I'm sorry...

Did she say WHY she wanted the switch?  Not that it matters, but I'm just honestly curious as to what ridiculous thing she may have said....

Consider this a bullet dodged- life is too short to waste it on bad people.

Your ex-friend is a terrible person. Be glad she's out of your life.

Send her an itemized list of your expenses. Don't expect a response. At minimum, she should reimburse you for your dress, airfare and any non-refundable expenses for the wedding.

Not that it matters now, but the bride could have added her other friend without kicking anyone out.

I would give her a bill.  I might even copy the other BMs and ask for reimbursement for your expenses now that you have been kicked out in favor of another friend.  At a minimum, I would feel better knowing that her friends know how shitty she is.  I wouldn't expect reimbursement and I would wash my hands clean of the event and the friendship.

I am so sorry this happened to you.
