Hi everyone
Is it really bad to not have a wedding cake?
We already have chosen an amazing menu at The Cosmo which has loads of food including lobster and steak and isnt coming in cheap.
The problem is we know everyone will be stuffed and our cake which has to be made by The Cosmo is coming in at $840 and that is the cheapest option of cake we can have for our amount of guests (38), they range up to $1185!
We just cannot afford that, lots of weddings Ive been to hardly anyone east the cake anyway, do you think we still need to have one?
Re: To cake or not to cake??
If you're ok with not having the cutting of the cake then I don't think it would be a problem. I'd try to find other alternatives though. Like maybe have a something like the top tier of the cake, so that you and FI can cut then offer some sort of dessert.

After a large meal most people do not eat the wedding cake , maybe you can have a small cake just for cutting.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
