Essence of Australia-bustle help!

Hi All! I was wondering if anyone had any tips for bustling. My seamstress showed me and my cousin today and we were just very confused

    What kind of bustle is it? There are a lot of different types - over, under, ballroom, etc. 

    Why didn't you ask her to explain it again while you were there? If I was confused about it, I would have said, "I'm sorry, but I'm not quite understanding how it works. Can you go over it again?" If you have another meeting with her coming up, ask her to show it to you again. Maybe even ask if you can video it.

    What dress do you have?  The dress usually helps determine what bustle should be used/would look best?

    Like PP said, I would ask your seamstress to show you/explain the bustle again BEFORE she puts any hooks, buttons, or ties etc place.
