DIY invites

I want to send my invitations with a wax seal but will the wax seal be enough to handle going through the mail? Or would I be better licking the seal and then stamping the wax seal?

    I would lick and stamp just in case. I think the biggest concern is the seal being knocked off in the mail but idk how common that is.

    Might I suggest a glue stick if you have a lot of invites? I learned that trick when I worked at a nonprofit that did a lot of mailings. You can still use the wax seal, but the glue stick would adhere better than licking.
