Will you be doing these yourself? FWIW I'm a fan of low key and easy if you're going to do your nails while your BM do theirs. I just don't have the steady hand to get something that cool to come out so I'd rather go with a solid color or uniform look.

Plus, if your hands are going to be photographed my thought is that if you're going with the traditional engagement and wedding ring on your hand then let those do the talking and let your nails provide quality support. Too much sparkle could look over-accessorized.

Think of your hand like other jewelry or your face. You wouldn't do a smokey eye and a bold red lip and you wouldn't do a bold chandelier earring with a big necklace. This is smaller scale but I think the same principle holds.
