Good morning! How was everyone's weekend? My sister's wedding is this Saturday the 29th so we're in crunch mode...my mom, sisters and I went to engaged sister's house on Sat to work on last minute stuff- favors, seating arrangements, etc. I know it's not required of the BP at all but I actually love that small detail stuff. Then an impromptu bbq with my ILs Sat evening...I prefer last minute with them bc I have no time to stress about the house being cluttered. And I always have staples on hand for easy-but-impressive side dishes and it's silly but I enjoy the "Eileen, how do you do it?!" lol. Sunday was mass and then the pool...finally sunny this weekend after last week's rain.

Sounds likely a lovely weekend!

Mine was good but quiet. H left Thursday and the dog was high anxiety all weekend. Saturday was our playoff game for football, we lost but it was close and fun. Then I stopped over to see my niece who was cranky and teething. There was a lot of “do you want to do x” and “Noooo”.

H came home yesterday and we did some house stuff and he prepped for the job interview. It’s not until next Tuesday but he’s in full on prep mode.

Weekend was good.
We took BabyKitten to the beach and she loved the water

I'm excited for next weekend away with in-laws - there's a beach and we're getting her a lifejacket. She kept walking into the water, and no qualms of how high the water was getting - got up halfway up her little thigh!

Afterwards we had snacks in the back of the car, and apparently the watermelon touched her soul lmfao

She also shoved an entire cube in her mouth, so that is half the reason she's making the face. Other half is that she just generally loves watermelon lol

We were hoping she'd have an afternoon nap also, but apparently sleeping on the way home was enough for her *head desk*

Sunday was low key cuz M didn't wanna go out *rolls eyes* She only napped an hour and half all day also. Guhh .....

We had a good weekend too! Friday I gave blood around 2:30 and didn't go back to the office after! It was a very quiet day! H also got out early too. He picked up DD and MIL. We went to the Phillies game, so MIL stayed with DD until my sister arrived to babysit the rest of the night. The Phillies game was for Chase Utley's retirement. It was a nice night at the ballpark and the Phillies did a wonderful job honoring Chase and his dedication to the Phils! Saturday was my morning with DD and she didn't start to rouse loudly until almost 8! Thank you baby! Not much happened and we were lazy and lounging until it was family nap time! Somehow I woke myself up just before 4. H had fallen to sleep as well, not his plan! We quickly hustled and made it to church.

Sunday was more of the same, except we actually did some stuff! After breakfast, H and DD went to MILs house to try and fix her leaking chimney. MILs BF though he fixed it, but with all the crazy rain this past week, it was leaking again. While they were gone, I did the dishes and other cleaning until they got home. We had family nap time again, but I stayed up and read our potty training book. We are T minus 6 days! Starting DDs potty training boot camp on Sunday, so H and I can double team her the first day. Then it will be just me on Monday and then H on Tuesday & Wednesday. I've got lots of fun undies for her and she does ask to go from time to time. We usually put her on before bed or tubby and in the morning. So fingers crossed this goes smoothly for us!

I worked all weekend and I’m exhausted today. I’m also having the worst period ever. I just want to relax in the fetal position with a bottle of Motrin, Netflix, and a heating pad. So work yesterday started off a little rough. Today I plan on recovering and going to the gym. Otherwise SSDD.

Not much here- prepping for baby shower this weekend. Fairly low key weekend. Workout, cleaning and cooking. Last night we went to a dance. I wasn't in a good mood and the fact that H led the same steps over and over again just made me crankier.

Met with the photog that did our family pictures and placed an order. I'm excited to get them. We are going to look at a couple of houses today. And it's still raining - so over this weather.

Weekend wasn’t as productive as I planned, but I needed the rest. I did go to my writing group, and I joined another that focuses on critiques.

Work’s been one emergency or issue after another. Part of me is tempted to stay home tonight and work on what I didn’t do this weekend, but part of me really wants a meeting, especially since I have a peace group committee meeting tomorrow evening.

Weekend was tiring helping FIL move, but we got it done. I had in office training today and it was...fine. But my boss is being kinda shitty about how long we actually have to stay in the office and is pissing off our whole team (out of 9 people, 8 of us are WAH). I did get quality face time with some of my faves.

I am officially on vacy the rest of the week SIL/BIL/nieces are here. We're going to be busy AF the rest of the week getting ready for our party.

I'm trying not to think about work BS, but man...my boss' BS is sticking in my craw. That's for next week, so...drinking it is this week.
