Worn out on Wednesday

Re: Worn out on Wednesday

  • @charlotte989875 do you find it's ever associated with food {before or after you eat}
    If it's after, my dr suggested spreading out what you're eating. Instead of eating all at once, to slow it down and have some now, eat more in 5-10mins, etc
    It’s worse after I eat, any amount, and throughout the day. I usually wake up fine and it gets worse. I’ve been doing smaller snacks spread out and i just feel nauseous all day.
  • I seriously felt tired the minute I got the + test.  ;)

    Through my 1st tri and into part of the 2nd, I could not do meat.  I cooked entire dinners and ate sides because I would be so turned off by meat.  I could only do bacon, LOL.  Fish, even smelling it, was a no-go all of pregnancy.

    I did eat pretty much every 2 hours in the 1st tri, even if it was just a couple crackers.  That helped keep the nausea at bay.

    Gatorade and ginger are also good suggestions. Sprite also helped me.  The bubbles seemed to calm my belly.

    If it still continues and you can't deal, I know it sounds ridiculous but talk to your dr and they may have meds to help settle your stomach.
    I felt sick pretty much majority of my pregnancy, but the meds helped keep me from not actually throwing up

    I happened to be chit-chatting with my coworker about Popeyes chicken.  She mentioned that, for the entire time she was pregnant, she absolutely could not eat any chicken.  Not just fried chicken, any kind of chicken.  It was just the grossest sounding thing to her.

    But, normally, it's one of her favorite foods and she eats chicken all the time, lol.

    M's coworker's wife had massive food aversions while pregnant with their daughter. She had to force herself to eat because everything just put her off eating entirely. Apparently mostly was veggies that looked like other things {ie; broccoli because trees, etc}
