So, we are August 25th - yay! So far we have: Booked venue + cater for ceremony/reception Photographer Ordered my dress Ordered bridesmaids dresses Start DIY centerpieces and decorations Working on DIY favors Sent up save the dates Have final invite, working on getting printed Ordered bridesmaid gifts Working on officiant So what else is there/ are we missing? We're on the less than 4 month planning route lol! PS we aren't doing flowers, we're doing our own cake as well

Have you done music, groomswear/groomsmen wear, floral for ceremony (ie bouquets, bouts, corsages), honeymoon.....

Looks like you have a lot done so far!!

I'd say work on:
music (DJ/music for ceremony - maybe a pianist if you want one?)
groom/groomsmen/usher/dad attire (generally if the Dads' rent tuxes they get them with the groom and guys)
Flower Girl/Ringbearer attire
Block Rooms at a hotel for OOT guests
Honeymoon

I'm also getting married that day. I might be ahead of schedule though (have been engaged since July 2010...). Have you been using a checklist, like the knots? That's what's keeping me on schedule, really dont want to fall behind and create more stress for myself

I have done all you listed above, as well as:

Bought GM gifts

Scheduled 1st dress fitting (your doesn't sound like it's in yet)

Booked a DJ (I'm assuming you just forgot to list this? If not that should be your top priority right now if your having a DJ)

Told BM's the color shoes I would like them to wear

FI, GM's & our dads got fitted for Suits

Booked rehearsal day/time with venue & rehearsal dinner at a restaurant

Blocked off hotel rooms for out of town guests

Cake tasting tomorrow (I know you said your making it yourself. My friend is making ours, but we're still doing a cake tasting just to be sure on what fillers we want!)

We have my ring and are getting his this month

I bought my wedding shoes & clutch

Ring Bearer outfit(s) are picked out - having 2 little guys!

Our honeymoon is booked

We've chosen 3/4 of our music selections (processional, recessional, first dance, last dance, cake cutting, father/daughter, mother/son) and have idea's for the rest of the music but havn't fully made a decision yet

Started gathering address's for invites early and have less than 1/4 left to get

Got thank you cards & stamps, my shower is in June and I'll need them- also made the shower guest list and got addresses for my mom & aunt who are hosting

That's all I can think of right now. other than that I've been doing random things like buying wine for our wine box ceremony, a DYI project, got all my table centerpieces, etc.

Like I said though, I think I'm ahead of schedule on some things. Just giving you idea's on some things to start working on soon

I have a ton to go too. I feel like I am making a good effort and then I forget about the small things we haven't done yet.
