I ended up watching. "Hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck"-Jake Tapper Truer words could not have been said.
"Will you shut up, man?" This, please, forever and ever.
All that said, I still don't understand being shocked about anything that Trump says or does. Wallace was a total buffoon. I will say my anxiety was terribly high watching, so IDK about my debate viewing going forward. Well, I will watch Harris and Pence because she's a master class in verbal jiu jitsu and I hope she makes Pence cry for 'mother'.
Next debate is supposed to be a 'town hall' setting where voters get to ask questions. He had a really hard time with the town hall he did in the last month or so, when it was just him. So having to 'compete' with Biden AND voters asking him questions...He may shit himself on stage.
One thing that I'm not quite understanding is this call, from Orange Fuckface, for 'poll watchers'. I understand it's coded language to tell people to patrol to intimidate...but like, they can't go IN the polling location unless they're an election worker or voting, right? So what are they watching in the parking lot? Also, from what I understand, most places have been inundated with applications for election judges/poll workers, so going through 'legal' channels to become a judge (which you likely have to state you're there to make sure shit goes smoothly and can't interrupt or interfere with anyone voting or whatnot) a lot of people are likely behind the 8 ball since I know there's been a push for months to sign up if you're healthy and able.
DH and I are planning on early voting in a couple weeks. I'm curious to see if there will be anyone 'poll watching', even though this area is pretty firmly red.
Other than that, SSDD. I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight. The grey, windy, chilly weather has me feeling some spaghetti...but that means I have to go to the store.
