Sending vibes on what I know is everyone's tough day!
Oldest DD is home from school awaiting Covid results. She got sent home yesterday after saying her throat hurt, and a note saying a sore throat is s symptom and she can't return without a negative PCR test. No fever, no other symptoms. The pediatrician said her throat looked absolutely fine and asked her to describe the pain. "It was snack time and one of my pretzels scratched my throat...it hasn't hurt since then." Ugh. Good news is because she's asymptomatic and hasn't had any high risk contacts she can go back as soon as the negative comes, and her siblings can still be in school. I'm in person at a school with over 1,000 people each day, and I'm all for being aware of symptoms and safety first and the like, but...a pretzel

oh well..
