  I’m up and at em early today, got stuck on a weird project yesterday and playing catch up so I can still take Friday off. June has been so busy but all my bosses are taking vacation in July so should be pretty chill.

  We are isolating. My friends sister tested positive, and pretty sure my friend will too. Since we were there on Friday for her daughters birthday we have to isolate. I tested negative yesterday so I am not worried, just better safe than sorry.
  
  Besides just interrupting life, I really don't mind staying home. My introvert heart is happy, lol.

  Oh no, fingers crossed it's not a fracture! Also waiting got me wondering, I wonder if we have a new WW baby yet? 
  
  Nothing much interesting going on here. I'm kind of in a lull at work, waiting for something more exciting to happen. I should take advantage of this time to organize my desk or my onedrive, but instead I'm screwing around on the internet. 
  
  I'm ready to get moving on this bathroom reno. We met with a couple of different contractors, and I want to go with the same people who did some work before we listed the old house. H found a shiny ad somewhere and insisted we get one last estimate, so they came out Monday. I'm hoping we get the estimate today or tomorrow (which I'm 98% sure is going to be much higher than the others), so that we can cross them off and pull the trigger with the one I like. There's still two months lead time with anyone, but I'd like to get a date on the calendar and start shopping for materials.

  In the news today, it was reported that we may be going back to wearing masks indoors again. However, the vaccinated are still safe, it’s for protection against the unvaccinated. Ummm how about no? First of all, they said (aside from a low chance of even getting Covid), you’re not likely to even spread it with the vaccine.  Also, I did my part, why can’t others? It’s all fine and dandy to make the choice to not get vaccinated but then you also have to make the choice of masking up if you go out. I know for a fact that unvaccinated entitled people are going around maskless though. Ugh! And I just am starting to get my life back.  These people are ruining it for me! I had a great night out with my meetup group last night and met some fun ladies - and I have another meetup tonight.

  Oh no @charlotte989875, I hope it's just a sprain/strain vs. fracture.   Healing vibes regardless. 
  
  So ready for the weekend.  I took Friday and Monday off.  Apparently work isn't giving us the day off Monday, just paying everyone holiday pay for Sunday.  This weekend will be getting DefConn ready for camp next week. 
  
  I'm curious to see how the team meeting goes today.  It's the first one since last week's announcement of major changes.  
  
  Meeting my friend for dinner tonight.  I can't wait.  I'm also hoping for a decent amount of downtime this coming weekend.  We don't really have any plans besides a cookout on Sunday.  DH may be helping FIL with some stuff, but FIL is still being petulant...so we'll see.

  Nothing vastly exciting. BK was exhausted last night and I was so worried.
  I gave her a bath, but thinking it was ok ended up being warmer than I should have. She got out and was all pinky-red
  She was fine, and I got her water and let her be naked to cool down but still scary a.f
  M kept assuring me she's fine and was cooling quick and had zero "worry signs"
  
  I was just so distracted by having fun. I did bubbles so we kept making each other have bubble beards. Which, to a 3yr old is friggen blast. Lmao!
  
  We're off tomorrow. Nothing much. M is finishing what he can of her zoo, and depending on weather I may take BK to the park.
  After nap we're going to a BBQ at my mum's place
  
  I'll try to post a photo of the counters I'm doing this weekend.

  I wonder if we're going to see a new baby!  
  
  I know that there are family members of FIL who are acting vaccinated when they are NOT.  I haven't started to tell MIL and FIL how I plan to have the kids behave when they have their 50th in November in the hopes that my kiddos may be vaccinated by then but it pisses me off to no end to do this.  
  
  Not to mention, FIL's family is devoutly Catholic.  By not vaccinating and then parading around inside without a mask you are "bearing false witness" which is LYING by your own actions and against the 10 Commandments.  I want to say, "So you know if you go into Home Depot without a mask on you're supposed to go to confession before you receive Holy Communion on Sunday."  It would make me sound super sanctimonious but they can sometimes dish out the loads of bullshit and can't take it. 
  
  ETA - AND as Christians we are supposed to do things for the greater good.  It's one of the basics of our faith (and plenty others!) and the concept that you won't get vaccinated yourself because YOU think you're fine does not take into account that we do things for others to better the world and that's ALSO part of being a good human being. (I will argue that this is also just part of a good human - but when it's from people talking out of both sides of their mouth I JUST CAN'T!) .  
  
  Oh, and my direct report was in the hospital having breathing problems due to Covid at midnight last night.   So that 99% survival rate is great on paper.  Doesn't mean it's not coming without a shit load of complications.

  Monday night, my friend and I got first place in the bar trivia contest we were in!  We got a $30 bar credit for that and are planning to use it for the bar's Taco Tues., next week.
  
  I woke up yesterday morning at 4:30AM with my stomach hurting, so I took a sick day.  I worked about two hours from home, with the big boss permission because I had a couple more urgent things to do that wouldn't take too long.  My stomach finally started feeling better around mid-day, but I was just feeling crappy all day.  I took a nap for over 3 hours in the middle of the day!
  
  Fortunately, I feel fine today and am back at work.  I was planning to take Fri. off, but I changed my mind.  I have a lot of personal stuff to do this week...mystery shops and a Walmart pick-up order...and, ironically, it's just easier to be at work on Friday because it's a better "home base" for the other stuff I'm doing.  I'll save those vacation hours for taking a random 3-day weekend in August, instead of turning this 3-dayer into a 4-dayer.

  @banana468 urg I hate people acting fully vaxxed when then aren't!
  My friends and I have been putting off a coffee date so we could all have at least 1 dose - mostly because it's outside and we can distance ourselves.

  Well they couldn’t rule out a fracture so I have a fancy boot and a follow up appointment. And an MRI.

  Just tired. Yesterday was my mom's birthday. She had to celebrate it from a hospital bed. Today she is being moved to a rehab place. Second time this year.
  
  I need things to calm down. Hopefully today and tonight will be more tranquil.

  I agree with everything you said @banana468. All those people thumping their chests about how Christian they are then not getting vaccinated because they are looking out for themselves, aren't following a basic teaching of the church in general. Gets me so steamed!
  
  Not much today. We had bad storms come through this morning and now it is just miserably muggy. Ran to Costco to pick up some things but they didn't have most of what I wanted - errgh!
