I have a two part question......
so the Groomsmen are all wearing black tuxes with purple vests/tie to match the girls. and my FH is wearing all white....to make my dad stand apart from both of them I was wondering if i had him wear a black tux with all white underneath would that look ok? I've been told he will look like a groom but i doubt it if the groom is head to toe white.
2nd part of the question....my dad is very important to me so i know how much he hates wearing ties of anykind. If he wore a tux and didn't have the tie but still wore the vest would that still look formal or just silly. Are there other ways around wearing a tie?
Any suggestions would be wonderful THANKS
Re: FOB Attire...need advice
Your dad could wear a bowtie if he doesn't want to wear a tie.
2. Eh. I found pics of people wearing tuxes without ties, but IMO it looks better with one. But if you know he'd hate it, don't force him.

Why doesn't dad wear a black vest and tie? That's a very classic look.
