My cruise saga continues! Ugh! Since August (because someome told me to keep notes and I have been) me and the supervisor have been going back and forth. I asked him what my options were if I wanted to cancel. Yesterday I get an email saying no refund but celebrity canceled a booking for full future credits. Ummmm without my permission? Because I was sure I worded everything to say I was only inquiring. He told me to go to my agent to move those credits over. But that’s not what I wanted to do?!? When I called the agent he said there was a $200 penalty. I asked why there was on one booking and not the other? He told me he’d look into it.
An email was sent out at 7:49 yesterday. “Celebrity cannot give you a refund but can give you future credits”.
Ooooookay. This is what I am asking for! But you only canceled one you nitwit!!! Why are you wasting your email by stating the exact same thing I told you I knew?!?
So I called the agents supervisor today but he didn’t answer. Both are dumb as rocks. Why would you cancel one and not the other? And why would you do it without confirming anyway? And what made you so sure that was the one to cancel? I just don’t get it!!!
At any rate - I can’t tell if these people are dirty rotten liars or just stupid? It’s a toss up! But never use vacations 2 go!!! And funny how the one agent said he talked to celebrity and it was celebrity’s rules for no refunds (even though I’m still sure I’m in a refundable bucket) yet when I called celebrity directly customer service couldn’t find my booking and I had to contact V2G for any refunds/info on it. Hmmm. Funny. I know V2G is throwing celebrity under the bus and this is all them.
