    Oh, that is stunning!  I need some new tulips.  I have the Princess Irene tulip and some run of the mill yellow ones (tall and full, they are very nice).  I would like some Queen of the Night and some with variations in the petals.  
    Is queen of the night black? I’m SO tempted in getting some black & red tulips.  Breck’s has 10% more off and free shipping.  But I’m not joking when I said the green thumb skipped me. Maybe my mom can plant them? Lol

    Yep, Queen of the Night is as black as a tulip can get.  They are stunning - I did have some, but the squirrels got them eventually.

    I did it.  I bought some queen of the night’s and a bold red (escape) to make black/red flowerbeds. I’ll youtube how to become a pro.  It’s 2023, everyone’s a pro on everything.

    I love tulips but because of all the critters that are around us I can't have them. I have daffodils because the critters won't eat them.
