Re: Fri-yay

  • I hate insurance companies so much. SO MUCH.

J never got added to our insurance for his birth. My company switched carriers on 1/1. He got added to that one so they could be billed for his admissions. His one admission was billed at $87k. At least we hit our deductible in the first month of the year!

He got breathing treatments prescribed today. But they needed prior authorization. To help a baby breathe. And then denied to cover the one that was recommended and made him get something else. It was still $96. I hate them all.

Now I'm wondering if something is wrong because it wasn't more painful lol.

I've seen so many horror stories with microblading that I'm really glad I didn't jump on the bandwagon a few years ago when everyoneeee was doing it. It looks so nice when it's well done though.
Naw, maybe they’re just using the older kind?

i lurv my microblading.  Most, if not all, people can’t tell the difference. I get comments on them all the time actually! Found my b/a (July 2019)
another bonus, my natural brows were awfully uneven and they can tat them on symmetrical now. Lol.

  • @CharmedPam my other deterrent to microblading is that my hair color changes wildly. I've been toying going back to blonde and that would really not look great with dark brows. Same with going auburn/red. I have hair commitment issues.

This is true.  When I got them done I had jet black hair and matching brows. But the girl who does my touch ups is really good at matching.  I’ve gone back to dark brown so a black wasn’t that bad.
The first time she did black on me, they were grey/blue! The ups guy walked into our office and was like “nice blue brows” and I’m like…. Woah! What? So I texted her and she said let them settle.  They settled a bit, but then I had her just do dark brown touch ups going forward. Since then, no blue/grey and much more natural looking.
