MOB dress color

My bridesmaids are wearing agave. My mom found a navy blue dress that’s really pretty but I’m not sure if it goes with agave and it is a summer wedding is it too dark?

    Your mom should wear whatever she wants. She's not a bridesmaid; she doesn't need to match anything. If she likes the navy blue, leave her alone.

    Navy blue is a popular color for MOB/MOG dresses year round, and mothers and bridesmaids do not need to coordinate. Let your mom wear the navy dress she found if she likes it.

    Navy is a classic color that goes with everything.  If that's the dress your mom loves that's the dress your mom wears. 

    I know there's so much stress on coordinating but really - this is a non issue.

    I wore a navy dress to my daughter’s June wedding.   Typically the parents of the couple are in very few pictures with the bridal party. Navy is classic and neutral.  Let adults make their own choices.
