First Dress fitting on Sat!

I have my first dress fitting this Sat with Louise! My wedding isnt until Oct but I already have shoes and dont really plan on losing weight so we figured I could get started!

For those of you who have gotten married or already had your first fitting, what does it entail? How long should I expect to be there?

I am also interested in having her put bra cups in my dress. Has anyone done this? How did it work? I am a C or D in cup size but I am hoping that my dress is structured enough at the top that adding cups in there would be good. The only thing is it zips (not a lace up) so I wonder if that will make a difference...

Here is a pic of me in my dress to give you an idea:

I think I was there for about 20-30 minutes with Louise for my first fitting (which was a little over a week ago!) but that was because we were talking about changing the bodice quite a bit and brainstorming ideas.

My only big suggestion is to bring the shoes you plan to wear at the wedding so she knows the right heel height.

If you have ANY questions, or would like ANYTHING changed about your dress, or just have ANY ideas, bring them up with Louise.  She is so awesome.

I'll be seeing her again next Friday for my 2nd fitting.  Have fun!!!

PS - I LOVE your dress!

I have my first fitting with her next Tuesday! I'm also curious to hear about adding cups, my dress is a zip up too...

I added cups to my zip-up dress, and it worked out great.  I'm also a full C/D, and the girls held up all night with no problems.

My first fitting took probably 20-30 minutes.  You will love Louise - she is so sweet!

I had my first fitting last week with her (she is awesome!)

I'm also a C and my dress is a zip up too...I had planned to have cups sewn in but she actually said I didn't need to spend the extra money.  Because I already had a strapless bra that I loved and is super comfy, she is just going to sew a loop in the inside of the back that I will hook my bra through so it won't creep up. I think it all depends on the style of the dress too, she said I would get more support from my strapless than the cups.  But she will know what will work best for you and your dress :)  Have fun!

<div>I meant to reply earlier, looks like other girls beat me to the punch! </div><div>
</div><div>My dress is a zip back, I had my ladies sew in bra cups. I am a B, but the put a full C cup in. It fills the dress in better, as well as gives me my coverage I was looking for. I feel SO much better with them in. Before I had them in I felt like everyone could just look down and see the girls. --I would just go with what she recommends. </div>
