Happy birthday @CharmedPam! Except for the food poisoning the rest sounds nice.

Weekend was enjoyable. Arthur Ashe Kids Day was fun, we left when it started getting too hot and crowded.  The luau party was a ball and yesterday was pretty lowkey which was needed.
Trying to shore up all the loose ends since I return to work on Wednesday.
  • Weekend was good.  Saturday I ended up working on chores almost all day.  I had been able to push myself to cook, but I didn't push myself to do the hand wash dishes.  So, I had  lot on Saturday and I had to soak quite a few of them to get them clean.  That with my regular chores and exercise left me wiped on Sunday.  My lower back was just sore, so I sat on my butt most of the day.  DIdn't get my dress cut out, but now that the convention is over, I'll do it in pieces this week.
  • Fairly nice weekend here. Work has been extra stressful lately, so I took a mental health day on Friday. I went for a run, had lunch with a friend, and then went to Target. Target is not as good as it used to be. Saturday we saw Midsummer Night's Dream at a small theater. It was really a lot of fun. Then yesterday went to the pool with a friend and dinner with my parents.

I'm ready for another mental health day already, though.
  • Hopefully staying internal is the path you need @Casadena. I need a deep clean like woah.  Every time I hire someone to clean, they always do anything I could have done.  Nothing special.  But maybe I’m just asking for a cleaning, and I need a deep clean

  • @CharmedPam I'll give you an update tomorrow! This was the suggestion of every company i priced though - first session was a deep clean and then regular cleanings after.
  • Weekend was OK.

Friday, we had my friend L's son for a little bit because they had a coverage gap.

Saturday, we *tried* to go boating, but there was something going on with it and it wouldn't start once we got it in the water.  IDK if it was human error, but it was frustrating.  We had another issue with the trailer and DH scraped his knee pretty good when we were trying to get the boat to start.  It was probably good we didn't stay after DH had a bloody knee since lake water and open cuts terrify me.  We got home and ended up going to Menards for stuff we needed and doing project type stuff the rest of the day.

DefConn, built a 'spur board', which is a rodeo practice device thing.  He designed it, found the materials in the barn, and built it with minimal help from DH.  I'll post a pic from my phone.

Sunday, just getting stuff done in and out of the house.  We're gathering all the things for Labor Day.  I am so stoked I found a foldable wagon on Amazon for half price.  It will make getting things to and from the pond (towels, food, drink, radios) so much easier.

Anyway, happy Monday.  ;) I think it's going to be a very busy short week.
