How was everyone’s weekend? I hope you all had a chance to get some rest, and to do something that brought joy.

    Happy short week!

Bringing down and setting up the tree, and the swim meet, both went well. I put in a refund for Wicked bc DS woke up Sunday with an ear infection and the only appt I could get interfered with the movie. He’s on ear drops and amoxicillin but I always stress about ear drops getting in and healing, since thus is his effected ear and his ear canal is extremely narrow. I’m trying to get squeezed in to see his ear specialist.

Brought youngest sis some meals for the week bc she’s having her tubes tied right now. Her H took a few days off but that doesn’t fully = rest time for her, so I’m hoping one thing off her plate helps. Floating through today thru Wed at work and lots of cooking and baking happening at home.
  • Weekend was nice! Friday girls day was awesome. So nice to hang out with mom and sister. Went for bagels, shopped, late lunch with margaritas at a mexican place and then saw Wicked. Got a few new shoes/clothes that i'm super excited about. Saturday was a short get together with H's family that was actually very nice - my bad attitude was unjustified - the boys did great and it was nice to hang in a smaller group than usual. Yesterday was a couple morning errands and then just hanging at home.

H and I are both WFH today bc G is off school all week. N only went happily because he gets to make pumpkin pie today, lol. They do a cute "friendsgiving" at their school and the kids get to help prepare a lot of the food the day before. We need to finish packing becuase we're headed to my parents house tomorrow after lunch.

  • Weekend was very productive.  I finally figured out the computer switch and have my personal desktop set up with my work laptop, so very happy about that.  Pulled my rug out of the apartment, which was a job since it ran through the entire space and had furniture on it.  It just didn't work in here (the bold colors made the entire place look a lot smaller) and Harley was shredding it under the bed.  It wasn't super expensive and it was aging, so it wasn't too hurtful to get rid of it.  Also fixed my closet shelves, which had fallen.  My new bedspread looks nice and that's made me happy.  I have kind of a big Amazon order coming of just last little bits and pieces to make life comfortable and finished.  Then I can hunker down for the winter and studying.

Otherwise, SSDD.  Just hoping for an easy few days.  I have fun plans for Thanksgiving break that I'm looking forward to.
