    I had a rough night last night - my parents wanted to come by in the evening, I declined bc it didn't feel like a good time.  I was tired and wanted a quiet night.  Joke was on me bc oldest DD had one of her once-in-awhile meltdowns at what was supposed to be bedtime, something that she was throwing around the living room hit the tv's wires and something came unplugged.  I'm terrible at anything tech/wire related and couldn't figure out how to fix it after an hour.  I don't even know I'd call to try and fix it.  I guess a handyman.  And my parents were slighted and are annoyed at me now.  Just one of those strike out nights.  I'd like today to be better but the TV will still be not working and DD has counseling, I'll jump into the start of her session but who knows if it'll even help.

    Ugh @ei34 I feel like the unannounced mid-week visit is really hard and if there's anyone that should understand it's our own parents.   I've also had issues w/ both mine and the ILs and work nights are just ROUGH.  The adults are exhausted, the kids are tired and now my two just have weird routines every day.

    I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.  I have a mammogram/US today because although they are tiny, they're dense.    I need to get laundry done and have Chiquita's clothing cleaned to be ready for her to camp this weekend and for Chiquito to have baseball stuff ready for pictures and his first game Saturday.

    Last night was the 3rd track meet of the season and CHiquita competed for the first time running the 800m.  She finished 5th in the group and I'm proud of her!

    Oh no @ei34, hopefully you can reschedule at a better time. I would say handyman, but I’m with you. Do TV repair calls even happen anymore?

    On Tuesday I was complaining about the lack of calls from the burn center. My friend was like “do you have to use them? Use my hospital!”. So I called, got a real live person (with flesh and blood) and she got me in today. Everyone and I mean EVERYone was excellent (although after the nurse practitioner said she was sorry this happened I swear she rolled her eyes because it was an elective thing I did). I have 3rd degree burns. A new cream and gauze wraps to be sent to me. And my attorney didn’t call me back yet. Someone told me yesterday she would. It’s only noon though. 
    So yeah. My turtle neck era continues.
