@VarunaTT so happy to hear that you'll be returning to the place you love.  The right home location brings a lot of inner peace.

@ILoveBeachMusic how is your recovery going?

Hope those returning to work this week after time off are having smooth weeks.

Should be a normal day at work, no extra meetings.  My second shift is busy but not crazy busy.
  • Thanks for asking @ei34. I'm doing well. I have my 3 week followup this afternoon. I hope I will be told I can do a few more things exercise wise. Walking has been great for getting the nerves refiring correctly. Unfortunately I have a really bad toothache at the moment. I saw the dentist first thing this morning so now I have an appointment for a potential root canal tomorrow afternoon. This is a tooth that already has a crown on it. Ugh, when it rains it pours! Things could be a lot worse though.

Yes glad you are able to return to the place you prefer @VarunaTT. Are you still planning on having a room mate? (I think I read that somewhere).

    Hope all are doing well.
  • Boooo to dental work @ILoveBeachMusic

I finished Unchosen last night, as I powered through the last few eps. Slow start but pretty good at the end. I’m in a Netflix recommendation page, and that and Apex are the two most talked about movies/shows.
Work is a dumpster fire, everyone in our office has no motivation to keep working and the moral is really low. Not the same office I first started in. Not sure if looking will even help me because I really have no area of expertise.
Tonight I’ll see the movie Michael with a few friends. It’s always fun to get together with everyone. My movie theatre changed up the menu and just nixed the children’s menu right off. I have a feeling people are eating less with this glp1 movement and child sized popcorns (and they also used to serve children’s meals) were becoming more popular with the adults so they removed them completely. I’ve been getting child sized popcorn and meals before glp1’s were even a thing.

  • I really hate how places police portion sizes @charmedpam. If I only want a child’s size, then let me get one. And why am I locked out of getting a basic grilled cheese sandwich because it’s a “child’s menu item only.” Just let me have it ffs.

I stayed up later than I should have and I’m a little tired but otherwise everything is fine. I did an easy Pilates class yesterday with H and SIL A. I could tell SIL A wasn’t super into it. If she isn’t moving fast she doesn’t count things as a workout.

    Otherwise SSDD.

One of my favorite things about Disney is their no-questions-asked kids meal policy.  You can mobile order from quick service restaurants on the app, and they do not care who orders the kids meals.  Bc I'm definitely about smaller portions sizes (while enjoying a wide variety of food - just that I don't need so much of any one thing).
I'm sure plenty of places do this. Just love the chance to sing WDW's praises whenever I can, lol.
