Yesterday was very rainy and it's upped my allergies today.  I thought I was imagining it, but the fellow allergy-sufferers here at work agree.

Did some more early morning setting up at my kids' school for Teacher Appreciation Week.  Work should be normal enough, and later today is counseling and DS bridges from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.

I bet the windy clear out has opened more trees.  My back yard looks like lace which is pretty but I expect it's rough for anyone with a pollen allergy.

    Have fun @ei34
I have half a day today. Going back, to what I hope, is my last burn wound appt. It’s a PITA. No word from my lawyer either way so I’m not sure where this law suit is going. It’s still numb, I still have nerve damage and talk out of the side of my mouth but it looks so much better.
I posted a 1930’s murder mystery on meetup. One of my good friends said she couldn’t make it, so I said fine, I’ll post the 20’s one too to give people options. I’ll attend both. I’m getting a lot of interest in both nights. I can’t believe it. It’s on the pricer side and that usually deters people away.

I hope your allergies improve! @ei34

I've been thinking about you @CharmedPam. I hope you continue to heal and the nerve damage improves.

Not too much to report here. Work and gym today. It's finally Thursday even though it feels like it took forever to get here. On Saturday I have a Hydrafacial I'm looking forward to although boo it's early in the morning. H has bursitis in his hip. His 40s are not treating him kindly and he's lowkey freaking out about it. Since the beginning of this year he's pulled a quad, had COVID/Flu, had some other sort of URI with a post viral cough that has lingered the full 6-8 weeks, and now the bursitis. Poor guy. And he's really freaked out about *waves* the world/our country, and he's trying so hard to get a job and it's disheartening not to even get an interview. He's been doing so much extra volunteer work. I hope something pans out of the networking at least.

Yay for the offer! I'm glad you can breathe a little easier now. Not knowing is so stressful

  • Glad you are healing well @CharmedPam. I hope you hear from your attorney soon. That is frustrating since it sounds to this non-lawyer that you would have something of a case.

Yay for not being unemployed @MyNameIsNot! I know that is a big worry gone.

Same old same here. I'm continuing to walk each day. It has gotten cold here so I've gone to the Y and used the treadmill. I hope I can walk a bit while visiting DD and family this weekend (first communion for twins). A couple of days I must have overdone it because my upper back and lateral muscles have been really sore. If I lie down it feels better. It could also be the nerves and muscles reactivating. I also haven't been sleeping well. I'll have a few nights of not sleeping well then crash because I'm so tired. Without make-up I look like death warmed over.
