    Students are off today in observance of Eid, and a PD day for us. Joy. Nothing like sitting through a morning of best practices in collaborative team teaching led by two experts aka two folks who each team taught for a year or two and haven’t been in actual classroom for 8 years.  Oh well. Lunch now and at least we have the afternoon to grade and lay out the final few weeks.

    Doesn’t really feel like a Wednesday so I’ll take it! We leave for a big 11 day trip on Friday. I’m annoyed because back in March we invited some people. One said “she wasn’t sure”. Well yesterday she decided to tag along so my other friend who was in our hotel room, unbeknownst to us, booked them a room. ONE day after the full refund date so I’m working with the hotel to take the 3rd person off and the breakfast we pre purchased. It sounds like it could be an ordeal. Plus we were splitting the room 3 ways and now it’s 2. Ugh! Nashville is fun but it ain’t cheap.  I need a vacation like woah though.  Love traveling with friends but I hope I find I really like solo travel too. I’m the least annoying person I know. Haha
