    One of our more troubled students' family sends in an extremely generous breakfast spread to his team each year, towards the end of the year.  It's today and it's so appreciated.  It's been months since I've had a bagel but it's one of my favorite foods.  

    Concert at the HS tonight, tomorrow DS camps with the Boy Scouts for the first time (I'm a bit annoyed bc I ordered a sleeping bag a week ago and it's not here yet, I'm going to text around and see if I can borrow one from a local friend if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow morning).  Tomorrow night I have a cousin's bridal shower in the city- it's at an upscale pizzeria/wine bar that I haven't been to in over a decade, I'm looking forward to it and seeing some aunts and cousins who I don't see often enough as well as my mom and sisters who I see all the time, but rarely without our kids lol. Sunday is mass, the DDs have not one but two softball games, and hopefully some downtime somewhere in there too.

    Have a great weekend, everyone! @ei34 your weekend sounds nice! 

    I am having a salty morning, mostly because I left my smart watch at home and now I'm going to be off on all of my stuff I track. Boo. H is gone so I had to take care of a bunch of stuff this morning and I forgot it on the charger. And as I was leaving I felt (and sounded) like a horse as I walked on the sidewalk so I looked down and yup, the heel tip has worn down to the nail so I indeed was clopping like a horse. 

    Still waiting on my friend to get back to me about weekend plans. I'm sure it will all work out. Sunday I plan on resting and then it's back to the work week.

    Sounds like a busy but fun weekend @ei34. I am too attached to my smartwatch @levioosa. I get so annoyed when I forget to start a workout because I want credit for every single minute/step!

    Pretty low key weekend - getting stuff ready to go to the beach next weekend. I'm flying down a few days early to spend time with a cousin. H will pick up DS2 then head down part way on Friday then pick me up Saturday at cousin's. It will be the first time cousin and I spend time together alone since I was pre-schooler. She is 17 years older than I am. I absolutely idolized her as a child. I've spent time with her family but never just the two of us. She lost her husband of almost 60 years a couple of years ago. We should have fun - we will see some other cousins while I'm down there.

    I plan on sitting on the porch and reading this afternoon while doing laundry.

    Some disappointment.  My H and I had tentatively planned to go to an alligator festival tomorrow, though it's two hours away.  But it's going to be raining for most of the event so we're bowing out.  Nothing else planned, except some grocery shopping at Costco this afternoon.  But now I'm also going to stop at a specialty meats store to get some alligator sausage.  It will make up a little for our spoiled plans.
