Should be pretty SSDD here.  Just enjoying the days here, when we have a long day of sunlight but it's not too hot yet.
  • Oh wow it’s hot and humid here. Everything’s so sticky. We’re in for some thunderstorms too.
Today hasn’t been off to the best start. Both medically and for work. Gloomy day here all around. In other news, I was looking at my friend’s arms this weekend and they were all clean and hairless. Minoxidil has really made my arm hair grow dark and long. I used nair for the first time in my life yesterday and I actually love it! Why haven’t I done this sooner?

  • Summery but not too bad yet.  I'm still swamped at work and have 5 days of PTO looming that worry me but I'm working to be as caught up as possible.

Over the weekend was the closing ceremony for little league and Chiquito's last run around the bases.  It made me more emotional than I thought!   He's aging out and needs to be in an intermediate league next year so it's a rite of passage and he's growing up.

Monday night was the drama awards at the HS.  Chiquita was awarded the "Jack of All Trades" award for all the things she does and I'm really proud.  I know when she's into something she gives it her all.

@charmedpam I have had the same struggle with Nutrafol. I spent a good amount of money on laser and it's a battle between the hair and the laser. I did get an at home laser device for upkeep that I use on my legs, armpits and bikini line. I had to stop Brazillian though because it was causing hyperpigmentation and I avoided my arms because the first time I did it it made one of my moles really dark and I said nope to that right away because I might be enjoying pain for beauty but that doesn't include melanoma.

SSDD here. Kitten is still with us. Poor thing is so full of fleas. She actually doesn't have a back injury, that's just how much blood she lost from fleas, poor thing. Since she seems strong enough today we'll bathe her again and we've been using the flea comb off and on with good success. It's way better than it was but still bad. We just couldn't bathe her too many times when she's so at risk. She's only a pound and too young and underweight for meds. I hope she makes it. She's such a love bug. We've only had her three days but yesterday when I left for work she ran to the front of the cage and meowed at me.

  • It’s hot and humid here and I hate this weather. Baby J was up super early again. We just can’t get him sleeping normally.

Work is a dumpster fire and I’m pretty sure that’s just state of things from now on. I’m tired, but also just tired of the corporate nonsense, but I need Job and one that pays well so there’s nothing really to do about it.
  • @charlotte989875, Can we be work twins? 100% how I feel too. And - I really don’t want to think about interviewing right now :(
@levioosa, she sounds adooooooorbs. Sorry you have to go through all that mess though.
I used to be on nutrafol. I felt it didn’t do much for me and the pills were a PITA to swallow. It’s such a lose lose situation. Less hair on my body or less hair on my head? I got my extensions raised yesterday (removed and reapplied), when she was brushing my natural hair I really saw a difference. Like if I had to cut corners, it would be my extensions but I still love the extra volume and now I have fun colored streaks in them.

  • We sure can @CharmedPam! Sorry you’re in it too.

i was on nutrafol after Baby J was born and I felt like it worked, but I just couldn’t take the taste, it was awful to me!
