I survived the pool party. And the dept luncheon. Today will be much quieter, thankfully. Hope everyone is okay.

I'm glad all of your events went well yesterday!

Not too much to report here. Just work. I went to the gym and did an upper body workout and I already feel so much better about it. I'm still going to wait until next week to resume Pilates/lower body though. I have some gnarly bruising on my leg so I hope it goes away by the time I go on our trip and want to wear shorts/dresses. I'm taking arnica so hopefully that helps.

It's oddly cool and foggy here this morning. No complaints. I will absolutely take that over the rest of the summer when it's already 85 at 8 am.

Glad you’re back in the swing of things @levioosa.

I found out my coworker’s daughter, who has MS, just had a difficult delivery of her 2nd son. I don’t know if she’s in next week (she’s the annoying coworker) but I feel for her daughter. Any ideas to give recouping momma as well as a baby gift?
edit; I love amazon. I know some don’t. I sent her a new mom’s care package and she’ll get it tomorrow (well her mom will, I’m sure she’ll be in the hospital for awhile)

I’m back after Aruba, kindergarten graduation, and sadly back to work! Vacation was incredible and I’m bummed it’s over!

DH started in-home PT and OT this week. It sounds like it will last 6 weeks. The goal is to increase his independence with walking & toileting.

The past couple of days have been tough. He's tired and a little sore from the exercise, and is generally difficult. I'm thankful we have more good days than bad, but it's rough. Yesterday, I was so frustrated that I thought, " What was so bad about being single? It sounds pretty good right now. In a morbid way, I also know that there will be a time in the future where I'll wish he was still here, even if he's being a pain, so I try to keep that in mind too. Ugh.

I'm hoping to get out for an hour or so tonight and look for some new bunting for the front of our house and other odds and ends.

I had a follow-up colonoscopy on Monday under anesthesia. It went well. My mom & brother came and stayed with DH. Pathology came back yesterday, and everything is benign. I can likely wait 3 years for the next one.

Not much planned for the weekend. Maybe errands tonight, and I hope to do a few things in the yard tomorrow. We are heading into a spell of hot, humid weather, so I want to finish a few things before it hits us on Sunday.

@ei34 - I'm glad the BD party went well. Enjoy the end of the school year!
@CharmedPam - Amazon and DoorDash are great ideas for a new mom.
@levioosa - I think I missed where you are going on your trip. Have a great time.
