Ok so our wedding colors are royal blue with orange accents and I really wanted my BM to wear orange shoes. Since this is a little bit of an annoying request I was planning on purchasing the shoes for everyone. So I found a pair online that are $25 and they have everyone's size in stock (I have 8 girls) so i ordered a pair to make sure i liked them.
Anyway the shoes came in yesterday and I love them, perfect color and everything. So today I take them to show my sister (MOH) and she is like yeah i dont like them they are not summery enough (they are very plain orange closed toe heals) And I said well I liked them and figured by me buying everyone's i was making it easier. Her response was yeah well i want open toe strappy heals.. well good luck finding that in orange!
I was just annoyed. She told me to just keep them and she will wear what i want but now i dont even want to i just want to return them and tell her to find her own shoes.
Ok sorry if this was hard to follow. LIke i said I was just annoyed. I know it's not a huge deal but I feel like she tried to do the something with the bridesmaid dresses and now this. It just frustrates me.

Yeah, sisters are kind of blunt! I have two! And one is named Colleen LOL.
Can you hold on to the receipt just in case she doesn't find those perfect summery strappy orange sandals?
Your sister is only going to have to wear the shoes for a few hours (through the ceremony and pictures, I'm assuming) so I don't think she should make a big deal, especially since you are offering to buy the shoes for her. Could you suggest to her that you wouldn't mind if she changed to flats or other shoes if she wants to after the pictures are done?
Sorry for your frustration, but can I play devil's advocate for a sec. I have funny shaped feet and 90% of closed toe shoes are very uncomfortable for me. This is why I am allowing my BMs to select their own shoes and I told them the color.
This might not be your sister's situation but be very careful when it comes to making your BM wear a certain shoe. Since they will dance and stand a lot during your wedding you have to consider their comfort.
I guess your sister was just trying to be honest with you, but sisters will be sisters.
PS-I love the royal blue with orange... I can't wait to see how it turns out
