Thanks Rhonwyn! He's being especially adorable right now. We put him in the bathtub a few minutes ago and I just heard him get out and dry himself off. I think he's in the bedroom getting himself dressed. I can't wait to see what he comes out wearing.

I took out sausage to thaw last night for breakfast not knowing that we only had 2 eggs in the fridge... so now I'm waiting for H to go to the grocery store (and Starbucks) and get home with more eggs so we can have sausage/egg/cheese bagel sandwiches.

I LOVE the job so far, thanks for asking! :) It's really awesome. I'm just happy to be working for a company that does something meaningful, after all those years marketing $2000 end tables. I used to get frustrated at the self-importance of that stupid company and say, "We don't make artificial hearts. This is not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things!" I can't say that anymore. :) We do save lives and make a difference with our product. That's kind of awesome.

It's a microlaryngoscopy. Basically, they knock me unconscious and stick a laser down my throat to cut out a growth on my vocal folds so I don't end up suffocating to death. It's pretty straight forward though, I've been having it done since I was 3 months old.

Seriously, do you feel like people forget your birthday because of Christmas? I always think that when I hear people have Christmas-y birthdays, mainly because of a 90210 episode I watched at an impressionable age.

Yes. I have been forgotten or told flat out by a million people "your birthday must suck" for so many years that I dont really focus on my birthday so much as just christmas. I just built it up into one big special day for other reasons so that it doesnt bother me anymore. It REALLY bothered me as a kid though.

Oh its fine, Im used to it by now. Ive come to terms with the fact that I will never see friends on my birthday, get a cake or double gifts (everyone melds it into one), but its ok. I just love christmas extra now because of it.

Good morning!

I'm not eating breakfast. I don't normally. I will probably have some coffee, with hazelnut creamer though.

Apparently, the friend who is adopting us for tonight, failed to mention that we're encroaching on his family dinner of 13, so I'm feeling really bad, and really really embarrassed. I wish we were doing more than making a veggie dish.
