Try ordering a size larger?

I am beyond frustrated at the moment, as less than two hours ago this dress was available in my size in the appropriate color (size 4, Lapis) for my MOH's July wedding, which is 3 weeks prior to mine. In the time it has taken for her to say she likes it and I can order it, it is now showing as out of stock for my size. Because it is a sale item, it is not expected to come back into stock in my size.

Many of the reviews say that it runs small. Should I risk ordering it a size larger? I do have picture evidence of a chat window with DB's "online help" verifying that it can be returned within 14 days of receipt if it does not fit.

I can't even begin to tell you all how ticked I am at the moment.

    I would try ordering it and maybe the difference in fit will be minor enough that you can have it taken in. 

    If not, return it and see if you can try having the dress shipped from a store further away from you to your local store. JCrew did this for me last year and was an amazing help. I'm sure DB would be able to do something similar.

    It's an online exclusive, so contacting other stores won't do me any good :( I think my only real option if I want this dress is try ordering it a size larger...

    If it makes any difference, the measurements for my size are 34 bust, 27 waist, 37 hips. The measurement for the size larger are 35 bust, 28 waist, 38 hips. So one inch larger all the way around...

    Most of DB's dresses do tend to run small. I think you would be okay ordering a size larger, but I would print the page saying you can return it, just in case.

    Keep the page that says you can return it, just in case.  If the size chart says that it is only 1 inch difference than your measurements, Im sure it can be taken in if it falls off.

    I took a picture of it with my cell phone - do you guys think that will work should they give me a problem down the road?

    And who knows... even if you went that route, by the time your MOH approved it, maybe it would be out in your size too :)
