I bought my dress a few months ago, and today I bought my veil!!! I'm so excited!! I went in so sure I wanted a fingertip or elbow length veil with a couple of layers. My mom really wanted me to get a cathedral length veil, and I was pretty adamant that it was NOT what I wanted. I finally gave in and tried a cathedral veil just to appease her, and I was SOLD! I can't believe how much I fell in love with it! It just goes perfectly with the flowy-ness of my dress.
