ok, so we are probably staying at Planet Hollywood, and we are thinking of staying in the towers? Is that far from the strip? Do you still get the same vegas hotel experience asd you would staying int he main casino?

The towers are connected to the main casino by the miracle mile shops I think, which means they're still on the strip. So many of the hotels have mulitple towers (ie New York New York) so I don't think that would make any difference experience-wise. I think the only way that you could not have the same vegas hotel experience is if you stayed somehwere not as nice or somewhere really dated (think Riviera or Balleys), so I'd stick with what you found--sounds like fun!

We go to Vegas 7 or 8 times a year... and yes... the towers are connected to the Mile Shops and the Strip. It's pretty much in the middle of everything and it's a great resort to stay at. We loved it. Have a great time!
