Where are you buying your engagement party or rehearsal dinner dresses?

I need a party dress. I tried White House Black Market, Talbots, Nordstrom, Etsy, and a couple of vintage dress sites, but I am having no luck.

I want a NON-black party dress, fancy but not long, and not too sexy. Any recommendations?

I get most of my dresses from Victorias Secret, Body Central, Express, and Forever 21. All those stores/sites have a great selection of fancy, sexy, and colored dresses. Body Central has the best sales too, I ordered a ton of dresses from them before my last cruise for $9 each!

i get most of my dresses from jcrew, ann taylor (usually loft) and lord and taylor.

lord and taylor is great because they always have sales going on. 25% off right now actually, promo code: FRIENDS. free shipping over $150 too. i got a $300 dress there last year for $80!

They are expensive I agree--I can generally never afford their stuff. I'm only making the exception for my rehearsal dinner dress. BUT they are made well!

I bought mine from Lord & Taylor. I was actually in there yesterday to buy some Bobbi Brown makeup, and they have a ton of ADORABLE dresses right now. If you have one near you, definitely take a look.
