my girls worn brown. Not sure if I even have a bio.. But I will look for some pictures for you..
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

I like the mocha better, but part of that is the satin in the dress (I know that's not the dress your friend picked). Satiny mocha is much prettier than chiffon mocha, so I hope it goes it that direction for you.

note - tropical storm arrived on my wedding.. Everything had to be moved under a tent. The wedding was not what I had planned. Please to do not think I choose to have a pole in the middle of the aisle.

Well that bubble skirt is less than awesome, but I am likely using brown (chocolate... or maybe copper, which isn't really true brown, but it looks brownish at Alfred Angelo!). I'm a lame bride and have nothing accomplished in said color, though. (In fact, BM dresses may be the only brown I have. Maybe table runners.)
If she's using brown and green... well, it could be a lot worse. The shades she likes are off, but you know its impossible to find everything in the same shade anyway.
And WTF is she updating you every day with her color preferences? Does she email a BM newsletter?

Is she planning for next fall? When is the wedding?
I'm doing fall-ish colors, so I'm no stranger to THAT cliché. At least it will be normal looking.
It goes to show any color can have a really bad shade or two. My mom STILL complains about a BLUE dress she wore in a wedding in 1980 because it was a really dead cornflower/gray blue which everyone hated. And I didn't think it was possible to do a bad blue.
Do you know who makes this dress? I picked out a dress almost identical to it from David's Bridal but I would like to try to save my girls some money if possible.

SIL used chocolate brown, green and cream for the wedding colors. It turned out great.
But I didn't wear a dress that also had a garbage bag holder at the bottom.
Sorry...that one is just NMS.

My aunt is nuts.
Although I'm not a fan of brown, I like that a lot better than the fug green.

I felt bad after your post yesterday because I went bio-surfing and a girl had picked out the exact dress with the same/similar color..
I felt bad, but it was funny. But bad..
