Cake Toppers

Will you ladies please share pictures of your cake toppers! Thanks :)

Re: Cake Toppers

  • I don't have a picture because they're not actually made yet.
But my FI's sister is a baker, and she's doing our cake. And I've asked her to make little look-alike characters of me and my FI out of fondant for the toppers.
I thought it could be cute and a little different. =]
  • I am actually not having one...my baker is doing a monogram with our initials on the top tier of the cake.  I figured it was one less thing to buy...
    BabyFruit Ticker

  • Got it on sale :) It was used as a demo and my cake has rhinestone banding, with pearl fondant on alternating tiers.
  • I'm so jealllllllllllllllllllous. The one I wanted was custom made from Etsy, but it was 60 dollars. I REALLLY wanted it so I figured I would save for it. And it's gone. :/ I stalk her page now just in case she begins making them again.

We're having a cupcake tier with the top one being a small cake... So it's not incredibly imporant. BUT I WANT ONE! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You should contact her and see if she has another one or would be willing to make another one. I'm sure they wouldn't pass up a sale!

Ok so I never even thought about what I would do if I got a monogram on the cake. That makes getting a monogram caketopper seem reatarded. I never even thought of that.
  • how big are cake toppers normally?  trying to decide what to get and I don't know how big is too big/how small is too small... thanks!
  • It totally depends on what size your top tier is (6" is pretty common).
