...shop. I'm baaaaad at impulse shopping. I now am trying to buy about $75 worth of partylite candles because I love fall/winter candle scents.
I also bake. I get wild hairs up my arse and I think I need to bake something. I may make cupcakes, but I think I should wait until tomorrow so I can take them to work Saturday and I won't eat them all myself.
How about you? What sort of things do you tend to do/want to do when drinking? Are you drinking now? What you drinking on?

PS--I'm drinking Beaujolais-Villages, slightly chilled...
Re: When I drink, I...
FI still reminds me about the time I downed an entire bottle of red wine and told him I wanted to hike the Appalachian trail. Like, the whole trail. And I don't like to camp if there isn't a bathroom.
In Response to Re: When I drink, I... : That's okay.. Cory is a huge scrooge and snow hater. He didn't have an opinion on our wedding music.. imagine his surprise when our first dance was to "Let it Snow"

Thats such an awesome choice! Unfortunately for me, FI has decided to become involved in food and music selections.
I can't wait for Christmas! I want to decorate the house already!

Cory says he'll divorce me if I put Christmas decorations up before Halloween. He caught me testing out and untangling christmas lights the other day. I was just checking them! i swear
When I drink I usually end up taking my clothes off. If I'm near a body of water.....such as the ocean I usually end up in it naked. When I drink I get horny and poor FI gets molested. When I drink I get very happy, lovey and hugy......unless I drink boxed wine then I became a raging, scary bitch.

Bet you a coke he doesn't mind.
yeah I'm a dork...more Beaujolais! Go Saints! =P

LOL you sound like me. But we love love love Halloween. FI and I have a weekend planned (last weekend in Sept) where we both aren't working just so we can get up all the Halloween decorations.

=) You'd win.
Oh I also eat disgusting foods when I'm drunk.....stuff that would make my stomach roll under normal circumstances such as grinders, pizza with cheese fries on it, etc. etc.
Posted by aprovencher21
Yes this too! When I drink I suddenly think I can eat a 10 course meal full of the most ridiculous foods, especially if cheese is involved.
I have a very low tolerance, I guess because I hardly ever drink. One beer gets me on the edge, two easily buzzed, three and I'm done. I had 2 glasses of wine the other night, the first alcohol I'd had in maybe 4 months, and that was enough to make me hit the wall when I walked to the bathroom.
And eat. I'm always hungry when I drink. I'm not a huge eater, but this weekend I ate like, 3 or 4 chili buns. I just kept cutting the buns and eating them. They just tasted soo good!
.... I dance. Oooohhh do I dance.
Posted by JennaV26
Me too. Though I usually think up moves that involve taking my clothes off. I also sing......very loud.
I basically act like I did in college; only with 1/3 the tolerance level.
I don't normally drink at home; we're usually in social situations.
Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
OMG Anna, I can't look at your ticker because the only thing I love better than fall/halloween is CHRISTMAS! Our local station starts playing all Christmas music starting around late October/early november and it's practically all I listen to! I just told J that we need more fall decor and his mom gives us Christmas decor every year, so we have some! I'm probably gonna buy more! yeah I'm a dork...more Beaujolais! Go Saints! =P

Cory actually "broke" his car radio so I wouldn't play christmas songs all holiday :)

My Church actually has a HUGE bazaar with all handcrafted items (like 250 vendors) including traditional Norwegian holiday food. It's the 2nd week of October and I just can't get out of the holiday spirit after having swedish meatballs and pumpkin pie made by little old ladies

And of course I crave junk food. Thank goodness I've got some good will power or I'd never stick to my diet.
Currently drinking: vodka and sprite zero with a sqeeze of lime.
When I drink I usually get very giddy/happy. Tonight is a different story. I am feeling really crappy about my shoulder surgery coming up because it seems to be messing up everything in my life including my job I just got. The field time is killing me too, C comes home tomorrow then goes back out on Monday until the 29th. I also just found out he is probably going to be out there for our first wedding anniversary. I know I signed on for this when I married a soldier but it's really kicking my but lately.

Aw I'm sorry he won't be home for your anniversary. Military life is rough. Hang in there.

hahahahaha thankfully my clothes always stay on, but sometimes I lose my belongings. Phone?? If I don't have pockets that thing is a gonner!
I finally figured out a Halloween costume and started getting things so I am super excited about the day. My parents are doing Seuss as their theme this year and I'm going as Amazing Mayzie from Seussical. I found this awesome shiny peacocky fabric to make a dress and then am going to create this awesome feather tail, feather mask, etc.

Why doesn't my Church have this! I'd also gain like 85lbs in a weekend so maybe its a good thing we don't have it......
Take pictures this year!
oh and for our wedding last December, I had the DJ play "All I Want for Christmas is You" and I sang it to J during the reception. =)

Thats so cute. I'd steal your idea if I didn't know it would totally embarrass FI and make him run away.

I so want to see pictures!! I found this awesome Alice in wonderland/sex queen costume. I kinda want it.....but its pricey and I don't want to spend $75 on a costume.
Christmas music starts November 1. I would play it year round, but DH and my coworkers would have me locked up.
Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets go on sale Saturday, and I think I should get them.
ETA: Merlot is tonight's beverage of choice.
I count down starting Boxing Day
I learned that my name meant "noisy river" when I went to Wales. Kinda fitting because I do have a tendency to ramble loudly and long lenghts of time, as is evident by my many crazy posts tonight. I'd blame the wine, but we all know it's just me.
I'm drunk right now so this is fun. I didn't read any of this thread either. I don't need to. It's how I roll.
I don't drink as much as I did in college (and my liver thanks me) But when I drink I get a bit friendly and handsy and lose any concept I had before of other people's personal space. It is awesome. I was watching football in the bar earlier tonight and I was depressed (damn vikes!) but the teas were going down great and Ben's ear was looking exceptionally tasty. So I treated myself.
Whatever. I do what I want.
It's a lot better than how I used to behave. I used to go off and pass out in random places. You know how like a cat, when its old, will go off by itself and die? When I was drunk I'd disappear and they'd find me later passed out in a closet or a bathtub or something, usually with my phone still in my hand from my latest drunk dial.
For hating Gircats. SO offensive and NOT what the SB community is about. PUPPIES!!!
