Saying "I love you".....

Re: Saying "I love you".....

  • I honestly cant remember who said it first, it just kinda happened :)
  • He was the first to say it about 3 weeks after we started dating rather unromantically sitting on the floor of his room watching famly guy. I gave him a rather long lecture about the inappropriate moments. I said it to him weeks later as we sat atop a huge hill watching the sun set in San Francisco. I whispered it so quietly I didn't think he was going to hear me but he did... and then proceeded to get teary eyed.
  • I beat my fiance to it by a minute. We were 17, had been dating for 6 months and were both on the edge of saying it but were in that whole "will they say it back thing" - especially since we were so young! We knew we loved eachother and secretly planned on saying it one night during a fireworks show we were going to. We went to the show, the fireworks started, he didn't say anything, so I blurted it out first. I win!

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Saying "I love you"..... : Well I mean I got married there. WHERE ARE YOU GOING IN HDG?

We're staying in Aberdeen, and my friend told me about the Tidewater Grille and a mini boardwalk near the bay. So, I'm planning to go around that area and out to eat and hopefully tour the lighthouse and maybe a few museums around the area. We're staying Friday night, enjoying the day Saturday and heading home that evening. It's about a hour and a half from where we live so it'll be a nice get away.
Any suggestions on what to do, to see?

  • Nebb that is the best story, hands down!

H said it first to me.  And he knew I wasn't there yet.  He told me that was okay because he was sure I would catch up.  I did, he was right!  Love that man!
  • FI said it first, over the phone late one night. The subject of moving in together had come up (like just come up, we hadn't been dating that long) and he said it kind of quickly. I asked if he said what I thought he said and he said yes. He said he had been wanting to for awhile and almost did a few times before but didn't want to scare me off. But, he figured if he was going to "convince" me to move in with him, he had to let me know that he was serious about us. He was farther into the relationship than I was at that point, but he gave me time to catch up.

  • we met on Friday, first date on Saturday (dec 9, & 10), we spent the next two weeks in a texting, talking on the phone, spending all night talking blur. on Dec 20th we were going to a christmas party together.. i had gotten ready and was waiting for him to finish getting ready, i was on the bed, and he came and sat down next to me, i had this stupid, giddy love face on, and said "i think, I want to say something stupid, that might scare you." and he said you don't have to say it, i know what it is, and of course being the dork/dumb butt that i am said "so, what is it that i am going to say":.... "your falling in love with me, like i am with you"... we both then blurted out that we loved each other & haven't stopped since... we're so romantic! lol
  • I said it first. We were only together for about 5 weeks (we had known each other for a little over a year at this time and dated once before). we are goofy so I kinda went the goofy approach. I said "so I've been thinking as I do from time to time and you know I'm thinking I love you" He laughed and of course I was blushing and he said hunny I love you too and little man. My son isn't his biologically but he treats him soooooooooooooooo good you would never beable to tell the difference.
