90's Nickelodeon Anyone??

So I think we're all sorta roughly around the same age which means that I (hopefully?!) won't be the only person freaking out with utter excitement over the fact that Nickelodeon is beginning "The '90s Are All That" on Monday!!!
Each night from midnight to 4am they'll be playing episodes of the classic Nick shows from the 90s!! Here's the link with all the shows that are being included. I think I'm most excited about 'Salute Your Shorts' & 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark'!!!!

OH MY GODDDDDD!!!

I don't think I have TeenNick though =( I think I only have regular Nick. I will have to check that out (and maybe get one month of expanded cable just for this, lol!)

I don't get why Nickelodeon won't release DVD seasons of all the shows, there's obviously a HUGE demand for them!!!

Now for a trip to Amazon to see what DVD seasons they actually have...

That's awesome, I wish I had cable!

Last summer, my kickball team's name was "Legends of Your Hidden Temple" and every week our theme was around a different Nickelodeon show. The first week was Legends of the Hidden Temple (duh), and we created Olmec out of a rolling cooler and had a moat (baby pool) complete with fog (dry ice) and an alligator! It was epic.

We dressed in costume for every theme. The rest were: Hey Dude, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, Nick Toons (Doug, Rugrats, Eureka's Castle, etc), GUTS, and "Slimetime Live featuring Marc Summers" (Double Dare, What Would You Do?, You Can't Do That On Television, etc).

My friend even got a Petunia tattoo like Little Pete has. For reals.

Oh my gosh I love this!! I loved Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude! Also, I remember being little and I'd watch Clarissa Explains it All at 6:30, Doug at 7 and Rugrats at 7:30. I was a happy camper on those nights!
I usually have no cable but I'm at home for the week...I wonder if I have TeenNick *runs off to find out*.

I loved Are you Afraid of the Dark and Legends of the Hidden Temple. I also remember a show called Guts too. I wish I had a dvr for this stuff.

FI and I had discussed the possibility of getting rid of DVR and, possibly, cable altogether, when we move to Mississippi, but I just informed that that won't be happening.
