Sunday traditions.

Hey ladies the water is getting stagnent again so hopefully this will help.

What are some Sunday traditions that you have with your family or future Hubby?
and what are some that you want to start with your new family?

    Mom, dad, my brothers, and myself go to Sunday School and Worship Service as a family on Sundays at the church I grew up in.  When I'm away at school, FI and I are attending a church together there.  He's a PK, so he grew up in church, as well.  When I was little and went to church with my grandparents, their church had a potluck one Sunday a month after service.  I always loved that...just the time of fellowship (and, let's be honest...it was an excuse to play in my church clothes).  I'm marrying a youth pastor, so we'll be in church on Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night...anytime the doors are open, we'll probably be there.  But I'm hoping Sunday afternoons can be restful family time, including any extended family that may live in the area, and our church family.

    My FI and family live pretty far away, so I just go to church and sometimes have brunch afterwards with church friends.  Just came back now from a church brunch now!

    We go to church and Sunday School together, and then we go to FI's parent's house for lunch. His dad is a pastor and they generally have people from their church over for lunch too. FI is one of 5 boys, so often there are as many as 20+ people for lunch! There's always great food and good fellowship, something I really treasure now(especially as an only child). Hopefully someday we'll be able to do the same for our children!

    Thanks for starting something new today! I'm trying to keep busy while FI is away for 2 weeks.

    After morning service the people in my peer group all go out to eat. I't a lot of fun because we can laugh and talk and just enjoy each other. We will normally have an evening service as well so we don't always get a whole lot of time.
