We're putting an offer on a house today! Fingers crossed!

I told my mom and dad but i'm not really telling anyone else because I did that last time I was looking for houses and it SUCKED having to backpedal and tell everyone you didn't get it - but I have to share my excitement SOMEWHERE! 

I am trying to keep it in check though. Nothing is guaranteed.

    Congrats!  We bought a house in May of last year.  We had plans to refinish the basement, but then wedding planning got in the way!

    Congrats! We bought our house on short sale in September 2010. We have great plans for it, but finances aren't in our favor because we keep going on big vacations :x.

    Yey! That's exciting! I know the feeling about not getting a house and then having to tell everyone you didn't get it. Not fun! Here's hoping this turns out well!
