Dress update and advice!

Okay, so here's the latest.

I had emailed Christina Wu about the dress I was looking for and they contacted a different shop for me, who I heard from last week. The shop is M'kaysha's Bridal Lane in Greensburg.

In the email, the lady said that they could get the dress in for me for $50, and then would take $50 off the price of the dress if I decided to get it. I think this is pretty awesome. It's less than BB wanted me to pay and it's not 150 miles away.

My only hang-up is that I have never heard of this place. I Googled and it seems to get great reviews. Greensburg area girls, do you know about this place? I'll take any info anyone has!

    No advice on the bridal salon but just wanted to say YAY!!! I seriously hope you love it - take pictures when you go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    no advice either, but I agree - that is pretty awesome. Can't wait to hear about it when you try it on!

    haven't heard of the place in greensburg but i'd jump at this chance to try on your dress!! can't wait to hear about it!

    I've heard of that shop- it was advertised in a wedding planner I got from a bridal show in Westmoreland county back when I was planning. I really don't know anything about it, but have never heard any negative comments. Good luck!

    I'm actually from the Gbg area...and have never heard of this place either.  Although like you said - on City Search there were some great reviews.  Good luck!

    Ugh, this does not make me feel good, lol. I was really hoping that someone has actually gone to this place or at least seen it in person!

    I have been in there. It is where MB used to be years and years ago (I think) The lady was very nice and she said that her dress prices included the alterations costs, so it was a package type of deal. The store was very clean, and the ladies where very helpful. It is right on Route 30, past the mall. I felt very comfortable in their store, which is unusual for me, and they had a very large selection of gowns to look at.
