This is our second together! We decided to keep it low-key this year because of the wedding. We exchanged small gifts over the weekend in Niagara Falls and tonight we're planning on making dinner and just relaxing. Unless FI has something up his sleeve for when I get home, it'll be a pretty normal night. I got him a "Just Because" card about a month ago so I guess that kind of counted as my card to him.

Last year he sent a dozen roses to my work. It was super super sweet. I don't expect anything like that this year, though a part of me kind of hopes he does something because he hasn't been the romantic he was when we first met lately (not that that matters or is a measure of how much he loves me, but something different would be nice).

FI surprised me and sent me flowers to my office this morning. I think the only other time he got me flowers was when he proposed, so I was very surprised!

We went out to dinner last night and actually bought my wedding band.

It has been a very fun Valentine's Day for me. I feel bad that I only got FI a card and some candy. I'll have to plan something better for next year.

Happy Valentine's Day! I bought a set of 6 cards off of etsy. They are really cute! The one I gave him today said, "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" and on the inside it's blank, so I wrote "Because I do!... ALOT! Happy Valentines Day! Love, your future wife." And I signed my soon to be name... The other cards are really cute! They say, "My Life Would Suck Without You", "You're the Only One For Me"...I can't remember the others off the top of my head.

FI got me a card that said something about a husband and he wrote in soon-to-be. Neither one of us likes to get serious mushy cards so we both got funny ones. I was going to make him cupcakes but decided to make him blueberry muffins instead (his fave) because I don't like them and won't eat them. He hasn't made it home from work yet, but I'm not expecting anything....except the Chinese food I just ordered for us.

This is our 6th Valentine's Day together and I wanted to go low key. I told FI that we'll just do cards. So I just got him a card and he upstaged me and got me 4 gift cards for a day out. It was really cute of him

Can't WAIT to shop the Husband section. I was seriously thinking about buying a husband card this year and crossing out husband and changing it to fiance!
