Anyone have a similar experience?

Someone I used to work with is now a vendor who gets mentioned on these boards from time to time. It was a completely different industry, but said person was a rather ... flawed employee. I suppose everyone deserves a fresh start, and he/she is likely much more suited for their current gig than the one they worked on with me. But it's always a little strange.

    Without mentioning names does this person normally get good reviews? It's possible they were not so great at their old job because they didn't like what they were doing and now that they found their dream job they are really good at it.

    They do! So, I guess I'm happy for them, since what they were doing before was clearly not their calling.

    But I just remember how much grief this person casued me once upon a time, and I can't help but sigh ;-)

    Awww! That sucks! But yeah some people do change. --- however, I'm hoping this isn't one of my vendors LOL

    Well, I never said "she" ... but it doesn't seem right to bring up old skeletons and rat them out, since they seem to be doing so well with this new venture.

    Ohhh... I'm SO CURIOUS now!  Can you at least tell us what TYPE of vendor?  And the first and last initials of her name??  :-)

    Honestly, I'm pretty sure noone would hesitate using her just because you had a bad  experience (or several bad experiences) once upon a time.  If someone stunk at their old job, but rocks at a new one, that just means it took them a little longer to find their true calling and something they really enjoyed. 

    Can you tell how much I can't stand secrets?!  haha
