UPDATE! My cousin just text me a few min ago and told me they were going to change their date and also gave a half assed apology...it wasn't very sincere but I'll take it. I called my aunt to check for sure that they are changing it and she assured me they are...to the weekend before. Sigh. Oh well, at least it's not my date.

Not to be a downer, but I predict drama. And annoying little things like every unique idea you have being in cousin's wedding. Is your aunt a professional wedding planner or is she just doing this a'hey, I'm good at planning events' favor type thing?

I agree with the possible drama. Be careful that all your unique ideas don't get used the weekend before at cousins wedding! Seriously, if you and FI want to do anything special to make your day unique, if it's possible to keep it a secret from wedding planner aunt, you might want to do so.

She's a professional wedding planner. I definitely won't be sharing any of my ideas that's for sure.

Well, at least she changed her date. I would have those STD's out so fast your cousin's head will spin. She is going to cause some people to choose one wedding. Best way to make sure it is yours is to get your STDs out asap.

Are you still going to have your aunt as your wedding planner. It just seems like there is NO way she could do her daughter's wedding one weekend and yours the next weekend without something suffering. She is a MOB in all of this and that will surely come first.

I really hope this all works out for you. It is obvious what she is doing, but if you CHOOSE to not let this affect you, it won't.

I'm really glad for you that this got resolved. It seems like she's just going to cause drama so be sure to not relay any wedding details to her. So long as your planner remains professional about it then you should be good to go. I don't know what her problem is. Don't let her issues drag you down and focus on planning with your wedding with your FI.

Thanks ladies! She can definitely be a pain in the a$$, I just didnt know one this big! I'm sure they will end up changing their date again, I think she's just being petty and childiish right now,but we shall see!
