I like the private pool/jacuzzi, butler service, and on sight resteraunts. I've been to 4 all inclusives (Mayan Riveria, Puerto Vallarta, Cuba twice) and would like more "romance" and better food/service than a typical AI

fiance and i just booked at zoetry el paraiso de la bonita on the riviera maya. check out their "endless privileges" and then the free "art of romance" honeymoon package that is added on to all private pool rooms full of honeymooners. we are very excited and it sounds like the sort of thing you are looking for as well!!

I've heard amazing things about Jade Mountain. There is a new, similar resort in St Lucia called the Cocoa Plantation (or something like that?) as well. I also remember coming across some higher-end Sandals resorts (not in St Lucia) with private pools and butlers.

Jade Mountain is great in St. Lucia and the Sandals also offer private suites with pools/jacuzzis and butlers. We're staying at Sandals Grande in St. Lucia in a Rondoval which a private house on the beach with your own pool, jacuzzi, and two butlers. We're going for 8 days and it came to a little over $10,000 with flight. We looked into Jade Mountain as well because it is the same price range (10 grand) but we just didn't like how there is only 3 walls in all the rooms. The 4th wall is completely open to gorgeous views, but I just don't like the whole nature feel.

I have a friend that just went to the Zoetry (as PP mentioned) and their room was GORGEOUS and had a private little pool. Not sure if they had butler service, but I wouldn't doubt it.

I think you will have lots of choices for that same environment in sex and the city

We HMed at Secrets Maroma Beach in Riveria Maya.

They have HMed suites that have a rooftop outdoor jucuzzi. The food was fabulous. (It's a step down from the Zoetry resorts; but Dreams, Secrets and Zoetry are all owned by the same parent company).
