FMIL is looking at dresses today

I'm interested to see what she chooses.

She said she is getting her shoes dyed to match, I tried to tell her via FI that it's outdated.  HE would not pass on the message.  He was more concerned with her hat.
He really wants her to have a large hat, she wants a fascinator, she thinks that's what the young girls wear these days, yet she is dying her shoes so who knows.
He also wants her to wear white gloves, no kidding.

Where does one get a large hat? Thinking about large hats makes me want to have a Derby party this year.

    I am inviting myself.

Hates gloves and dyable shoes. This should be nice.

My mom is dying her shoes to match too.  I tried to talk her out of it, explaining if she got some silver strappy sandals she could probably wear them again, but she wouldn't listen.  I figured it wasn't worth making a big deal out of it.

You get a hat at a Milner, there are many in London.  Or you can get them at the bridal shop or dept store.  Knowing FMIL and Matt she will not get one at a Dept store, IMHO they look very cheap, unless it's Harrods then it's a different story all together.

The hat, the gloves, that sounds very British. Maybe if she picks a long dress, you won't really be able to see the dyed-to-match shoes?

I have no idea what shoes my MIL wore, but I'm sure she considered getting dyables so they would match perfectly.

If she gets a big hat, won't that be difficult to get over here on the plane?  Of course, I'm just looking out for her convenience!

I really want to see your wedding pics.  I'm sure they'll be adorable.

It's called the Go Lightly, and it looks just like Holly Golightly's hat from Breakfast at Tiffany's!

<div>I would guess she would take her hat box as a carry on.  You get 2 carry ons for an international flight.  you can take a small rollie bag and a personal item.  Also airlines are really nice about weddings, usually.  </div>
