Since it is Thursday and we normally do questions (but I've been a slacker..) and since there are a few newbs (right?).. maybe we could remind ourselves, and tell the newbies a little about ourselves!

H is AD in the Marine Corps, I'm prior service AD Navy.
2. Engaged or Married?
Old Married Hag
3. How long have you been engaged or married?
We've been married a little over a year.
4. Have you been through a deployment yet?
We've been through a short deployment when I was on the boat, but he's been stationed in Japan for almost 2 years.
5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time)
I work part time at Curves & and I'm a full time student.
6. Hobbies?
TK (is that sad?) Reading, Cooking & Baking..
7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!)
I have a beautiful kitty face fur baby named Theo (I'm kind of obsessed with him) I don't have any pictures of him on this computer though..
8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!)
College Football-Alabama (Woot Woot!!), NFL-Saints, Panthers & Ravens, I also really like hockey and I root for the Hurricanes, but H makes me like the Sharks also.
9. Favorite Book &/or Movie?
Gone with the Wind, To kill a mockingbird, & the Wizard of Oz. I also really like the movies for all three as well.
10. Do you like wine? (This is probably the most important question..)
Duh.. I'm actually learning more about wine, rather than just drinking it for fun, so that's neat!!

4. Have you been through a deployment yet? Nope, and not for at least 2 more years!
5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time) Work full time for a talent sourcing company.
6. Hobbies? Graphic design, cooking, sailing, painting.
7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!) Furbaby named Sasha

8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!) I'm a Patriots fan, but football is probably the only sport I like watching on TV. I like going to games in person, though!
9. Favorite Book &/or Movie? Gah... so many favorites! Favorite book right now is "Sky Burial" by Xinran.
10. Do you like wine? (This is probably the most important question..): Duh.

2. Engaged or Married? Engaged… exactly 100 days until the big day =D
3. How long have you been engaged or married? Since March
4. Have you been through a deployment yet? Not yet. We have been long distance for 2 years and he has gone on “mini deployments” so…I’m not too worried.
5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time) I work full time as a Business Analyst at a fairly large company, which I LOVE. I work a lot on communicating between the IT nerds and the business units (HR/PR/ACCT).
6. Hobbies? I love being crafty, but I don’t have a lot of time.
7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!) I have a furbaby… he doesn’t live with me at the moment because it would be cruel for him to be in my apartment for 12 hours without me. When I move to FL to be with FI, we HAVE to have a back yard because I NEED my baby back. According to my mom, he cries when I leave =(
8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!) I am a HUGE Oklahoma Sooners fan.. I graduated last month from OU so it comes with the territory. I also root for the Rams… They aren’t doing very well, but I know a few people that play for them… so I am mainly rooting for them =D Finally, Oklahoma Thunder… We are kicking butt this season,. So I have to be proud of them.
9. Favorite Book &/or Movie? Pride and Prejudice for both.
10. Do you like wine? (This is probably the most important question..) Yes. Mascato is my favorite.

4. Have you been through a deployment yet? Nope, next tour he'll be underway but not deployed.
5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time) I spend a lot of time on TK and facebook. Oh and work fullt time for the National Cancer Institute
6. Hobbies? Please see above. Other than my interwebs addiction, I knit and read.
7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!) Nope
8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!) Basically all of them. Big NY Giants and Boston Red Sox fan.
9. Favorite Book &/or Movie? Erm, tough question. I think my favorite book is "Pride and Prejudice"

1. Branch of Service you or your SO is with?: None, yet. Hopefully, he will soon be in the Army through a dental scholarship. If not that way, then hopefully when he graduates, he will enlist as a dentist for the Army. OR... Army Reserves through school. Yeah, we've been trying hard to get in, but have not been successful as of yet.
2. Engaged or Married? JUST got married, not even a month ago! WOOP WOOOOOPPP!!!
3. How long have you been engaged or married? : 25/26(?) days
4. Have you been through a deployment yet?: Nope.
5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time): I am in Admin. for an Foster/Adoptions non profit org. Basically, I take care of alllll the paperwork needed to adopt a child for all of Southern CA. I deal with a lot of So. Cal. counties adoptions, making sure no one that is trying to adopt is shady, basically. I also translate homestudies.
6. Hobbies?: TK, reading, andddd watching my husband play Skyrim while on TK

7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!): Not yetttt
8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!): Trying to learn more about football, and love Basketball.
9. Favorite Book &/or Movie?: Through the Looking glass, Alice in Wonderland (Disney version.)
10. Do you like wine? (This is probably the most important question..): It IS the most important question! And yes, so much so that I am a part of a new wine tasting at home club thanks to the genius Irish and her fantastic find !!!

7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!) Furbabies. We have a 2 year old dwarf bunny rabbit and then Jade our almost 1 year old German Shepherd.

3. How long have you been engaged or married? A year and a half! 4. Have you been through a deployment yet? FI is currently nondeployable but may be taking a deployable position in the near future. We've been through month long schools numerous times but never an official deployment. 5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time) Radiologic Technologist (xray tech) 6. Hobbies? Shooting guns, working out, crafting, reading, riding motorcycles. 7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!) no kids. FI has a yellow lab. Who hates me. I don't have any pictures of Moses on my ipod

8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!) I don't follow sports really. 9. Favorite Book &/or movie?! Tommy Boy has always been one of my fav movies. 10. Do you like wine? (This is probably the most important question..) ummm yes. So much, in fact, my entire wedding is centered around it. I tend do stick to local wines though. I am always trying new things though and would like to expand my list of favorites!

3. How long have you been engaged or married? It will be 1 year in April.
4. Have you been through a deployment yet? Going through it right now so our 1st year is spent apart.
5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time) I work full time at a college and I also am finishing up my masters. I am in my last class as of right now. WOOOP WOOP!! YAY me!
6. Hobbies? I love to go to my work out classes. Also see above, school is my hobby right now.
7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!) We have two furbabies.

8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!) I love college football. USC (Gamecocks, Iowa, Bama and UGA- only for H)

     We are engaged (107 days I believe!)

3. How long have you been engaged or married?
     Since July 21, 2011, so almost 6 months

4. Have you been through a deployment yet?
     Nope. We will be married during his next deployment, and it will be his last one.

5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time)
     I have a B.A. in Pyschology, but right now I'm working part-time as a nanny. I would like to study to become a childbirth educator and lactation consultant.

6. Hobbies?
     Reading/watching anything that has to do with childbirth, art, and baking.

7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!)
     One furbaby, our half-Persian black cat Binx! (He's in my avatar)

8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!)
     I sometimes watch Badger (WI college) football, but mostly because my cousin was on the team. But now he played his last game when they lost in the Rose Bowl last week. So we'll see. I like watching my FI play baseball/softball (that's how we got to know each other in high school).

9. Favorite Book &/or Movie?
     I just have a favorite genre of books, in which there is a dystopian society (e.g. The Giver, The Handmaids Tale, The Hunger Games). I also love Harry Potter. Favorite movie, probably "Stepmom." But I love a lot of movies.

10. Do you like wine? (This is probably the most important question..)
     Yes! I love sweet or medium-bodied whites, and medium-bodied reds.

Currently FI is AD Marines (as in, for 3 more days)... he's working on transferring to Air National Guard.

2. Engaged or Married?
Engaged

3. How long have you been engaged or married?
Umm... a year and 8 months, give or take.

4. Have you been through a deployment yet?
If a MEU counts as a deployment, then yes. We were also long distance for the past 3 years and 10 months.

5. What do you do? (ie full time student, work full time)
full time medical student, although I feel more like a worker than a student these days

6. Hobbies?
Facebook (I'm addicted), TK, reading non-school-related books when I have time, watching my tv shows, and drinking wine... I used to have more of a life before med school.

7. Kids? or Furbabies? (Include a Pic if you can!)
No kids, no furbabies. Although I want a puppy BAD. My dad won't let me get one. Boo.

8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count!)
Football- any SEC team, but particularly MS State, not much of a NFL fan, but I do like the Saints. I'll watch SEC basketball, but it's mostly football that I care about.

9. Favorite Book &/or Movie?
How to choose??? Pride and Prejudice, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Jude Deveraux books for good trashy romance... but over all fav would have to be Harry Potter. Love love love those books.

4. Have you been through a deployment yet? I met him online when he was deployed, we talked for over 9months till he was home...so no, but kinda yeah.

6. Hobbies? cooking! Decorating, shopping, pinterest (that counts as a hobby right?!)
7. Kids? or Furbabies? Two! A chihuahua and a cat. They are my angel babies!
8. Are you into any sports? (Fantasy leagues count)! Have alays loved baseball!!
9. Favorite Book &/or Movie?--Fave movie is for sure Talledega Nights, the Ricky Bobby Story. I could watch that movie five times a day! I cannot pick a favorite book, it is impossible!
