XP: How's our menu/buffet setup sound?

We're going to have long tables set up  in a line. (There'll be two identical set-ups since we're having so many guests.)

Table one:
Salad bar

Table two:
Soup bar

Table three:
Entrees (chicken flatbread and vegetarian pasta)

Table four:
Candy bar

That maks sense to me.  Will people be putting everything on one plate at the same time (except the soup, obviously), juggling several plates or making maultiple trips?

If I am visualizing this correctly, you've got all 4 tables in two identical long lines?  I'd consider moving the candy bar to a separate area from the food bar.  It might keep the line moving a little faster as people get their dinner and then folks can load up on candy at their leisure during the dancing.  It will also allow the venue to clear away the food trays before the end of the night without affecting the candy bar.

I agree with Nola. I would also move the candy table. I think it will help the flow of the supper line alot better.

totally agree with Nola, especially if guests have one or two plates in their hands where are they supposed to be putting the candy? It'd be horrible to get chocolate in your steak, or in a salad.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I think we'll move the candy bar closer to where the cake is, but not so close that little hands will mess up the cake ;)

@Meggie - I guess people will have more than one plate if they need it, but really one plate should be enough.
