I am super excited! I have already booked our flights, bought my dress, arranged the limo hire (belltrans), arranged the ceremony (sceniclasvegas) and a photo strip tour (keith kaplan). Still many things to sort out, but the most important stuff is done!

Hi everyone, Like Dropveter, I've been lurking around these boards for a while! I am an April bride as well. My fiancé and I are getting married on April 12, 2014 at Caesars Palace, Venus Garden, followed by dinner at Le Village Buffet at Paris, then reception at MGM Skyline Terrace Suite... We can't wait! Still a lot of small details to square away, but these boards are helping us out so much!

I can't believe how many brides are getting married in April!

I have just reserved HMU with Make-up in the 702. Now I have to figure out what I want... I usually don't wear a lot of make-up and I've never had my hair styled by a professional...

Anything I need to be aware of??

Yes, I love these boards! We're expecting around fifty people, however we are worried that the skyline terrace suite won't accommodate that many people. Shoebunnie- you're not alone, I am definetly in panic mode!

I'm excited to marry my best friend after 6 years I'm just freaking out about having to pay for ithe rest of it so soon. The FI keeps telling me to relax it's fine. Then I start obsessing over details I may or may not forget!!

For some reason I have not entered panic mode yet... Maybe it's because it's just the 2 of us, so I don't have to worry about guests. The only thing we have left to book is the restaurant after our ceremony.

I am also marrying my best friend after 6 years! Must be the ideal time to tie the knot haha! I do agree it is kind of daunting to spend all that money. What details are you worried about? Just remember the most important detail: saying I do! That's the most important.

April 14 date twins - we are down to double digits! These next 3 months are going to fly! What are you ladies/gents up to? There is absolutely nothing left for me to do before we get final numbers. Our RSVP date is February 28th.

On a more exciting note - our at home party is only a couple of weeks away. Wooohoooo roll on April 2014!

Exciting! It's 14 weeks tomorrow! That's so crazy!

I still have quite a bit to do - but we just finished booking all of the hotels for our honeymoon road trip so that's a big check, and FI has purchased all the elements for his suit

Next up is sorting out our playlists for the in-suite party and our home reception, and need to book/purchase a few last things once we have confirmed numbers (koozies, transport to our insuite party and decorations and the candy buffet for our home reception). We sent out invitations to our home reception with our Christmas cards so we currently have the RSVPs rolling in for that

We've still got loads to do! No one even has a formal invite yet as we've not done them! That's our priority. We've got FI's family staying with us at the moment (tomorrow would have been our NZ ceremony) so we can't really get stuck in until they leave next week. I'm sure it will all come together though!

Man, aren't we all just busy gals! 81 more days, I can't believe it! It's like I hit the double digits and all of a sudden, time is just moving way fast! I am not panicked yet, but I am going a bit OCD on this all of a sudden (3 different checklists, a budget sheet, a to do list, day of itinerary, etc. all open on my work desktop right now!) so maybe that is how I am coping with it! However, making decisions on things is not going very well, but we do have all our RSVPS in except for like 4 of them, so that is super exciting. Just hope everyone who said they can come will actually be able to! You ladies are doing marvelous and I know are going to have awesome weddings!

Side note, does anyone think it would be weird to have our parents as a part of the grand entrance? I'm just feeling weird because FI's dad is his best man as well so it throws me off to have him in the grand entrance without the other parents (even though he is escorting my best friend) but maybe no one will care since he is technically the best man and not "groom's dad"/....UGH, I swear I am worrying about the smallest stuff right now!

Hey Missmo, I ran into the same problem. I was so excited when my dress came in a couple of months ago and I could barely breath when they zipped it up. I went back a month and a half ago and it was slightly better so I joined a gym and have cut out all sugars. I am going to try on again at the end of this month. Fingers crossed. I know exactly how you feel. You can do it!

81 days here! Not that I'm counting of course...
My dress should be in within two weeks...that's my biggest stressor right now. I'm sure it will be fine but I'm a bit anxious. Oh and my wedding ring stresses me out too. We are ordering it in a couple of weeks and it should take about 6 weeks to get in.

69 days to go!

Had a very productive weekend on eBay. I ordered:
- Feather Centrepieces
- Table Runners
- Votives and flameless candles
- Rose petals for the cake table
- Gift boxes for favors (we will be doing M&Ms in our wedding colours, cos its a cheap favor and honestly, I just want favors so my tables look more decorated)
- Pins for our mothers (we will put these in their welcome bags, they can choose whether to wear them on the day or just keep them as a keepsake of our wedding)
- Mr & Mrs Satin sashes

We also placed an order with RSVP rentals for chiavari chairs (yes they are expensive, yes they are unnecesary but they go towards our minimum and keep this bride happy.) and we ordered the black linen for all our tables. We also decided to just go with Maggianos white napkins.

We have already arranged our place cards, table numbers, cake topper etc.

Now I'm on the hunt for floralytes for my centrepieces and mirrors. Once I get those 2 pieces we will have ALL of our reception decor!! I'm shipping everything directly to Sari at Culinary Pros who will be letting me know when they receive each package and checking for any breakages etc.

SQUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

You're killing me Mo! I feel pretty good with where I'm at then you have to go and have everything done!! Let's see I have: Paid the vendors who aren't cash day of Finalized floral and cake Picked the ceremony Have jewelry, shoes, and veil. I might ditch the birdcage I have now when my dress finally comes in if I think I need a traditional veil. For the favors/welcome bags I have purchased the bags, koozies, cups, water bottle labels, playing cards, dnd hangers, Tylenol packs, mini Tabasco bottles. In Vegas I will get the water, mini Bloody Mary kits and vodka and snacks. Cute personalized napkins for the in suite reception. We have booked the honeymoon and put down a deposit but still need airfare. I'm undecided on rentals. My mom thinks we need tables but it heavy apps with enough seating already in the suite. I will probably get a table for the cake and desserts. Booked the HMU trial and day after brunch. My dress will be in any day. What am I missing??

@shoebunnie you are on the ball! FI and my boy still dont have suits and im still working on vows and ceremony floral. I also dont have shoes or undergarments for my dress. My mum is making my veil but I still need a hair piece for the reception.

We have decided not to pay any balances til the absolute due date so we keep accruing interest on our wedding savings. I just want to have everything done but Feb 28 so I can relax all through March.

@missmo14 FI doesn't have his suit yet either. I'm trusting he will come appropriately dressed. We did purchase his ring a few weeks ago and we will order mine soon. They had the sample in a week ago for me to look at I'm just waiting as long as possible to buy it. Oh I also need to get my candles and decorate them. My sister created a spreadsheet for me with timelines while in Vegas of the last minute stuff we have to do and it really helped lower my stress level mostly. I need to organize my home office this weekend so I can do a proper wedding inventory!
