I am having a hard time getting someone to return my calls or emails at the wedding coordinators "office" at the resort we will be staying at. Is this normal??

    it's wedding season time so responses may be delayed, but depends on how long you have been waiting.  Our WC always put an "out of office" response on her e-mail so we would know when there would be some delays in responses which was helpful

    When we started doing our search in January (not wedding season) we noticed a LOT of vendors in Hawaii run on 'Hawaii Time' which means they take 2-3 days to return phone calls and 1-2 weeks to return emails. We excluded a lot of the vendors based on their 'Hawaii Time' response.
    We are using Carrie from Cherished in Hawaii as our wedding coordinator and she is amazing. She has been busy this month with weddng season but each time has responded to my emails within 24 hrs and told me she was busy with a wedding and gave me a future date to which she would respond. (As in... I am busy with weddings this Friday/Sat/Sun but will get back to you no later than Tuesday regarding _____).

    My coordinator told me in the beginning what her work days were so I would know if I didn't hear from her on her days off (Sunday-Tuesday).  She is usually quick to resond.
    I think you need to tell your WC how you feel!!!
